By now you probably know the cAeT is a major fan of TOKIO. (NO-O!!) But since the semester's started and the cAeT is actually trying to graduate this semester (HA HA!), I'm actually allowed to make this review... w/ a few parenthetical comments from the FAN.psychometrer EIJI
Asuma Eiji (Matsuoka) is the unwilling accomplice of the special crimes detective/profiler played by Otsuka Nene; unwilling because Eiji has the special ability to see a person's past just by touching him her; an ability he dislikes, but his "partner" needs to solve the bizarre crimes happening around them. This ability is called pyschometrer, and is usually coerced by Otsuka bribing Eiji and his two roommates, Tamiya Shoukichi and Kasai Yuusuke (Inohara Yoshihiko and Kohara Yuki) w/ food. Sidelining the detective/psychometre work are Eiji and Co's enterprising attempts to make money w/o actually having to work, i.e. dancing for money in the streets and taking advantage of an explosion at the local arcade, much to the embarrassment of his younger sister, Emi (Matsumoto Megumi). Psychometrer EIJI isn't exactly what I'd call a drama, not in the true sense, but it's fun to watch; kind of like a comedic X-Files, though the special effects are somewhat cheesy. The music was okay; mostly done by DJ Krush (also known for his work in Blade). The ending song, Furarate Genki, was done by, of course, TOKIO, which is actually one of my favorite TOKIO songs. (there's hope for you yet!!)
Actually have a few pictures for this drama - wonder why? (bite me.)
